The Bluwater Island Project is a man made mixed use island off the
coast of the Jumeirah Beach Residences, featuring the “Ain Dubai”
wheel, the 210 metre high world’s largest observation wheel,
forming the central attraction for this modern, 5 star family
orientated resort. Working to a neutral colour palette our company
successfully completed the interior fit out of the 99 contemporary
styled Serviced Apartments, with open plan kitchens, and solid
surfacing worktops supplied and installed by our company, solid
engineered oak timber flooring, and hand selected “rift cut”
veneered oak timbers all enhancing the quality minimalist
appearance.

Considerable attention was directed to the floor and wall tiling,
with large black floor tiles of 1500mm x 750mm, and ribbed feature
wall tiling, all of which required very careful setting out, and
millimeter tolerance to grout lines, and to gypsum/glazing and
tiling interfaces within the bathroom areas to provide a perfect
seamless transition between materials. A challenging project to
undertake, but one in which our company were able to excel, and
provide a high quality end product.
