As the first 5-star hotel to operate in Dubai, The former “Intercontinental
Dubai” first opened its doors in 1975, strategically positioned in the
commercial heart of the city overlooking the Creek. Our brief for this
pioneering hotel was to upgrade all x 288 guest bedrooms, suites
and bedroom corridors in a 6 month duration to meet the modern
operational standards of Radisson Blu, and the hotel owners,
Galadari. All construction and fit out works provided by our
company were carried out with the hotel in full operation, and
over the Summer months to suit the occupancies of the hotel.

From strip out of the existing rooms and corridors, our services
included new double glazed balcony doors, gypsum works to
ceiling, walls, and new coving, new electrical services and DB
upgrade, new decorations, and wallcoverings, new joinery and
furniture, new architectural and decorative lighting, new carpets,
new soft furnishings, and artwork. The stunning vibrant new look of
the interiors provided by our company have been extremely well
received, and are a testament to our in house ability to provide
exceptional quality and delivery within very tight timescales.
